I graduated in Telecommunications Engineering from the Polytechnic University of Valencia in 2001. I am a member of MedICLab and an assistant professor at the Polytechnic University of Valencia since November 2001. My research interests are focused on the use of new technologies in the field of mental health: virtual and augmented reality systems, wireless devices, internet… I have worked in the development of internet-based systems for phobia treatment (public speaking fear, agoraphobia, specific phobias) and in the study of the relationship between presence and emotions inside the EMMA project. Now I am actively working in my PhD analyzing new methods for presence measurement.
