Corey Bohil is a cognitive psychologist with a background in perceptual classification and decision making. His work has focused on development of formal models to account for category learning in the context of unequal category base-rates and costs/benefits. He also has an interest in cognitive neuroscience and has contributed to research assessing the roles of multiple brain structures posited to be inovoled in category learning. He has industry experience in Human-Computer Interaction as well, having served as cognitive scientist/statistician for Perceptive Sciences Corporation in Austin, Texas. In the M.I.N.D.Lab he explores perceptual learning and spatial cognition within mediated environments.
