Brant Guillory is a PhD student in Communication. His specific area of interest are convergent media, game design, effective training simulations and military-journalism interactions. His projects have included work in media typology, games and academics, training intervention design, and framing of media coverage of the war in Iraq. He has paid the bills as a radio DJ, college housing staffer, concert promoter, Army officer, graphic designer, freelance writer, technology trainer, Army National Guard officer, book publisher, technology manager, advertorial writer, graduate teaching assistant, and wargame designer. Brant's goal is to finish school before his 2-year-old; right now, that's a toss-up.
